Tourist and Scenic Railroads of the
Northeast
If you are a fan of tourist railroads, then you
won’t want to miss Bob’s clinic on five scenic
railroads located in the northeastern United
States. From the Winnipesaukee railroad in New
Hampshire to the West Chester railroad in Penn-
sylvania, Bob takes you aboard five railroads in
four northeastern states. Sit back and enjoy the
trains, structures, and scenery as you visit each of
these railroads. A word of caution, however,
you just may want to go visit these railroads
yourself!

A Kaleidoscope of Hacks, Crummies, Way
Cars, Bobbers, and Cabooses I’ve built
Over the years, I have built a variety of
“caboose” type cars, both narrow gauge and
standard gauge, and in both HO and O scale.
They range from “as-is” kits with a bit of detail-
ing, to extensive kit-bashing, and at least one
totally scratch-built car. This clinic summarizes
these projects with an emphasis on the tech-
niques employed for building each one, with the
hope that the material may be useful for other
car applications, and even inspirational to the
attendees.
