the third floor of the Revue Tower.
Well known author, speaker, and model railroader Tony Koester is the
speaker.
Anthony Koester, more commonly known as Tony Koester, is a well
known member of the United States model railroading community.
Koester popularlized the idea of proto-freelancing with his HO scale
model railroad layout, the Allegheny Midland (AM), along with his
friend Allen McClelland's Virginian & Ohio. Koester is an alumnus of
Purdue University with a degree in electrical engineering. While at
Purdue, he was also a member of the Model Railroad Club. In 1966, he
helped co-found the Nickel Plate Historical & Technical Society to
preserve the memory of his favorite railroad.
The Galt House kitchen is famous in Louisville and promises to prepare a
dinner that we will fondly remember. We will start with a Galt House
Salad of an assortment of fresh greens, vegetables, and tomatoes served
with the Galt House homemade fat free French dressing. You will have a
choice of three (3) dinner entrees options:
(1) Pan-Fried Chicken, hand battered
boneless breast served with white cheddar mashed potatoes and country
gravy.
(2) Herb seasoned fresh Pan Seared Atlantic Salmon fillet
drizzled with balsamic glaze and topped with crispy onion straws.

A vegetarian option. Cost for the dinner is $45 per person including tax
and tip.
